Because of the modifications to the front axle body, the cooling module on the Corsa-D is attached to a separate traverse.
The traverse consists of an aluminium beam with mounts for attaching the cooling module and the lower front panelling (1) and (2).
When removing the radiator, all electrical connections and the coolant circuit connections are detached. The air conditioning system evaporator remains in the engine compartment, but is secured to prevent it falling out. The refrigerant system remains closed.
The radiator can be removed and installed together with the traverse.
After installing the radiator and filling the cooling system with Opel specification coolant, the cooling system must be bled.
