Check Camshaft Housing for Plane Surface Opel Combo C

OHC Petrol Engine 1 illustration

1. Remove cylinder head • See operation "Remove and install cylinder head"
2. Clean sealing surfaces • Remove gasket remnants
3. Inspect components
4. Check for plane surface • with straight edge and feeler gauge • Measure camshaft housing: – From sealing surface to sealing surface: I = 66.5 mm

Note. Camshaft housing must be replaced if deformation or twisting has occurred.
