How to Replace (Z 17 DTH) the Heating System Control Unit Opel Combo C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet

Important. On vehicles with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses its basic adjustment each time the battery is disconnected. It must be recalibrated

2. 2. Remove battery • Remove ground cable (1) • Disconnect positive cable (2) • Remove relay box • Remove battery bracket – Remove bolt (3)

3. 3. Remove fuel filter housing from bracket • Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)

4. 4. Remove battery support • Unscrew 4x bolt (1)

5. 5. Detach heating system control unit • Unclip heating system control unit in direction of arrow • Disconnect wiring harness plug

Install

6. 6. Attach heating system control unit • Connect wiring harness plug • Clip in heating system control unit
7. 7. Install battery support • Tighten 4 bolts
8. 8. Attach fuel filter housing • Connect wiring harness plug
9. 9. Install battery • Attach battery bracket • Tighten bolt • Attach relay box • Attach positive cable • Connect ground cable.
10. 10. Close bonnet
11. 11. Program volatile memory
