Subject:Engine Y/Z16YNG - No CNG mode possible after SPS programming

Complaint:After SPS programming the engine control unit switch to gasoline mode after engine start. Sometimes the DTC P1242 is stored.
Cause:Wrong selection of exhaust emission level during SPS programming.
Production:The Euro 4 level was introduced as of the following VIN-B/P: - W0L0XCF0663066229(Combo); - W0L0XCF2563066206 (Combo Van).

Remedy:

In case of customer complaint perform SPS-programming again and select the correct exhaust emission level:

Euro 3 - without CNG low pressure cut-off valve (except vehicles campaigned with 06-R-50)

Euro 4 - with CNG low pressure cut-off valve
