How to Replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor Opel Combo C

Fuel Injection Systems 4 illustrations ~190 words

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Drain coolant • Place collecting basin underneath. • Open drain bolt
  1. 3. Remove fuel filter housing (2) • Disconnect 4 lines (1) and (4) – Use KM-796-A • Disconnect 2 wiring harness plugs – Housing cover (3) – Housing bottom (arrow) • Close 4 fuel lines
  1. 4. Loosen coolant compensation tank • Unclip coolant compensation tank
  2. 5. Remove crash box • Remove nut • Remove nut
  3. 6. Detach charge air pipe (1) from intake manifold • Release clamp • Unscrew 4 bolts (arrows)
  1. 7. Remove coolant temperature sensor (1) • Lock wiring harness plug (2) • Unscrew coolant temperature sensor
  1. 8. Cleaning work

Install

  1. 9. Install coolant temperature sensor • Coolant temperature sensor • Lock wiring harness plug
  2. 10. Install charge air pipe • Replace seal ring • Tighten 4 bolts • Fasten clamp 3.5 Nm
  3. 11. Install crash box • Tighten 2 nuts 25 Nm
  4. 12. Install fuel filter • Connect 2 wiring harness plugs • Connect 4 lines
  5. 13. Fasten coolant compensation tank • Clip in coolant compensation tank
  6. 14. Top up coolant
  7. 15. Close bonnet
