DTC P1451: EVAP CANISTER CLOSE VALVE CIRCUIT Jaguar S-type I

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove inspection cover form EVAP canister assembly. Disconnect 2-pin Canister Close Valve (CCV) harness connector. Measure resistance between CCV terminals. If resistance is 25-40 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 25-40 ohms, replace CCV and retest system.
  2. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and CCV harness connector Green/Red wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair power supply circuit and retest system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
  3. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between ground and CCV harness connector Black/Orange wire. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair circuit between CCV harness connector Black/Orange wire and PCM harness connector FH-1 terminal No. 6 (Brown/Blue wire). (Схема №5)and (Схема №6).
  4. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. Check continuity between ground and CCV harness connector Black/Orange wire. If continuity exists, repair short to ground and retest system. If continuity does not exist, replace PCM and retest system
