DTC P0325: KNOCK SENSOR CIRCUIT (BANK 1) Jaguar S-type I

Note. Bank 1 is located on right side of engine. Bank 2 is located on left side of engine.

1. Turn ignition off. Inspect knock sensor for correct installation. For location (Схема №2)or (Схема №3). Repair as necessary and retest system. If knock sensor is installed correctly, go to next step.
2. Disconnect knock sensor harness connector. Measure resistance between knock sensor terminals. If resistance is 4.5-5.5 megohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 4.5-5.5 megohms, replace knock sensor and retest system.
3. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. (Схема №5) Check continuity of White/Black wire between knock sensor harness connector and PCM harness connector PI-1 terminal No. 51. (Схема №6) If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in White/Black wire and retest system.
4. Check continuity between ground and knock sensor harness connector White/Black wire. If continuity exists, repair short to ground and retest system. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
5. Check continuity of Gray/Black wire between knock sensor harness connector and PCM harness connector PI-1 terminal No. 42. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Gray/Black wire and retest system.
6. Check continuity between ground and knock sensor harness connector Gray/Black wire. If continuity exists, repair short to ground and retest system. If continuity does not exist, replace PCM and retest system.
