  1. Ignition off
  2. Connect the breakout box
  3. Control module disconnected.
  4. Switch off all equipment that takes power from the battery (for example, courtesy lighting, radio etc.). Check the resistance between the battery negative terminal and breakout box terminal #16 and between the battery negative terminal and breakout box terminal #46. The resistance must be 0 ohms. Check the ground terminal 1/1 (battery negative terminal) if the resistance is incorrect. Check for an open-circuit and contact resistance. Check the cable between ground terminal 31/95 (left-hand wheel arch) and brake control module terminals #16 and #46. Check for an open-circuit. Check for contact resistance.
