Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
- Connect the GDS on the Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Start the engine and measure the output voltage of TPS 1 and 2 at C.T. and W.O.T. Throttle Angle Output Voltage (V) TPS 1 TPS 2 C.T 0.3 ~ 0.9 4.2 ~ 5.0 W.O.T 1.5 ~ 3.0 3.3 ~ 3.8
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the scantool from the DLC.
- Disconnect the ETC module connector and measure the resistance between the ETC module terminals 1 and 2. Specification: Refer to " «SPECIFICATION»(ref-535731-S29168266712013031200000) "
ETC Motor
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the ETC module connector.
- Measure resistance between the ETC module terminals 3 and 6.
- Check that the resistance is within the specification. Specification: Refer to " «SPECIFICATION»(ref-535731-S29168266712013031200000) "
Scheme 415
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the resonator and the air intake hose (Refer to "Intake And Exhaust System" in EM group).
- Disconnect the ETC module connector (A).
- Disconnect the coolant hoses (B).
- Remove the installation bolts (C), and then remove the ETC module from the engine.
