Note. Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Check the condition of knock sensor installation. Is the knock sensor installed correctly? YES -Replace the knock sensor (see «KNOCK SENSOR REPLACEMENT»(ref-513153-S32539900252012110700000) ), then go to step 2. NO -Install the knock sensor correctly (see «KNOCK SENSOR REPLACEMENT»(ref-513153-S32539900252012110700000) ), then go to step 2.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Reset the PCM with the HDS.
- Do the PCM idle learn procedure (see «PCM IDLE LEARN PROCEDURE»(ref-513173-S16164063582012110700000) ).
- Test-drive under these conditions: Engine coolant temperature (ECT SENSOR 1) above 70°C(158°F) Transmission in D Engine speed at 1, 650 rpm or more Drive 5 seconds minute or more
- Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC P0326 indicated? YES -Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the knock sensor and the PCM, then go to step 1 . NO -Troubleshooting is complete. If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated «DTC'S TROUBLESHOOTING»(ref-513153-S06499438282012110700000) .
