DTC P1586: Battery Current Sensor Signal Malfunction Honda Insight ZE2 рестайлинг

Note. Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ). If the DTC cannot be cleared, do the troubleshooting for DTC U1204.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS (see «DTC CLEAR»(ref-513150-S05310385702012110700000) ).
3. Check the SOC in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there 25 % or more? YES -Go to step 4. NO -Start the engine, and hold it between 3, 500 and 4, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the SOC increase to 25 %. Then go to step 5 .
4. Start the engine.
5. Test drive at 25 mph (40 km/h) in D.
6. Press the brake pedal, and stop the vehicle slowly.
7. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P0A3F, P0A5E, P0A5F, P0A61, P0A62, P0A64, P0A65, P0A78, P0AC0, P0AC1, P0AC2, P0B0F, P0B10, P0B11, P0BE6, P0BEA, P0BEE, P0BFD, P1440, P15A5, and P15AA in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Does the HDS indicate PASSED? YES -Go to step 8. NO - If the HDS indicates FAILED: Go to the indicated «DTC'S TROUBLESHOOTING»(ref-513150-S14068378132012110700000) . If the HDS indicates NOT COMPLETED: Keep the ignition switch ON (II) until a result comes on.
8. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P1586 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Does the HDS indicate FAILED? YES -Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the battery current sensor and the MCM. If the connections and the terminals are OK, replace the battery module (see «BATTERY MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-513150-S13612045782012110700000) ), then go to step 9. NO -If the HDS indicates PASSED, intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the battery current sensor and the MCM. If the HDS indicates NOT COMPLETED, go to step 3 .
9. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
10. Clear the DTC with the HDS (see «DTC CLEAR»(ref-513150-S05310385702012110700000) ).
11. Check the SOC in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there 25 % or more? YES -Start the engine, then go to step 12. NO -Start the engine, and hold it between 3, 500 and 4, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the SOC increases to 25 %. Then go to step 12.
12. Test drive at 25 mph (40 km/h) in D.
13. Press the brake pedal, and stop the vehicle slowly.
14. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC P1586 Indicated? YES -Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the battery current sensor and the MCM, then go to step 1 . NO -Go to step 15.
15. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P1586 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Does the HDS indicate PASSED? YES -Troubleshooting is complete. If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs were indicated in step 14 , go to the indicated «DTC'S TROUBLESHOOTING»(ref-513150-S14068378132012110700000) . NO -If the HDS indicates FAILED, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the battery current sensor and the MCM, then go to step 1 . If the HDS indicates NOT COMPLETED, go to step 11 .
