  1. Remove gear shift knob.
  2. Remove front cover, see «FRONT COVER - CENTER CONSOLE»(ref-175206-S08755492302005050200000).
  3. Remove console boot.
  4. Remove boot plate from body. (Scheme 661): Removing Console Boot & Boot Plate
  5. Remove rear exhaust pipe and muffler. See «REAR EXHAUST PIPE»(ref-176319-S03748520142005050300000). CAUTION: When removing exhaust pipes, make sure no exhaust pipes drop out. (Scheme 662): Removing Rear Exhaust Pipe And Muffler
