Remove and Install Starter Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery. • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Remove nut
3. 3. Raise vehicle by its entire height
4. 4. Detach intake manifold bracket • Separate oxygen sensor (catalytic converter control) wiring harness plug • Unclip wiring harness plug from bracket • Unscrew 2x bolt

5. 5. Detach earth cable from starter (2) • Unscrew nut
6. 6. Detach wiring harness from starter • Unscrew 2x nut (3)
7. 7. Remove starter • Remove bolts (4) and (5)

Install

8. 8. Install starter • Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
9. 9. Attach wiring harness to starter • Tighten 2x nut
10. 10. Attach earth cable to starter • Tighten nuts
11. 11. Attach intake manifold bracket • Tighten 2x bolt 8 Nm • Clip wiring harness plug into bracket. • Connect catalytic converter control oxygen sensor wiring harness plug
12. 12. Lower vehicle by its entire height
13. 13. Connect battery. • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nuts
14. 14. Program volatile memories
15. 15. Close bonnet
