Introduction
The electronic body systems installed in the Omega-B are divided into systems with and without self-diagnosis. This leads to differences in the type of checking equipment used and in the procedure for trouble-shooting.
Sections 3, 4 and 6 of these Checking Procedures describe the checking of
· Central Door Locking System (CDLS) with Anti-theft Device (ATD),
· Anti-theft Warning System (ATWS) with integrated immobiliser and
· Electronically Controlled Sun Roof (ECSR)
using TECH 1 and program module Opel/Vauxhall Omega-B 1994 ECU in Omega-B vehicles as of Model Year 94 1/2. All three systems feature integrated self-diagnosis.
Sections 5 and 7 of these Checking Procedures describe the checking of the systems without self-diagnosis
· Immobiliser (IMO) and
· Electronically Controlled Window Winders (ECWW)
in Omega-B vehicles as of Model Year 94½.
