Electronically Controlled Window Winders (Ecww) Opel Omega B

Electronically Controlled Window Winders (ECWW)

Electronically controlled window winders are available for the Omega-B as optional equipment. There is no central control unit. The controls ("standby") are integrated into the left control switch located in the centre console; all other functions are performed by the electronics of the motor in question.

Features include:

· convenience switching

· pinch guard and

· child safety catches for rear doors

As well as via the control switches in the vehicle interior, the windows can be closed via the central door locking system:

· with the key, if the key is held in the locking position for longer than 1 second when the vehicle is locked.

· with the infrared remote control, if the centre button is pressed for longer than 1 second when the vehicle is locked.

Note:

The windows can only be closed via the central door locking system if the window winders are programmed

(see 7.2.6).

The electronically controlled window winders do not have a diagnostic interface for TECH 1 and are checked using the multimeter and electronic kit as specified in the trouble-shooting chart.
