- Engage the parking brake and use wheel chocks at the front and rear of the wheels.
- Shift the selector lever to the N position.
- Perform the following procedures. Remove the battery cover. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]»(ref-579330-S31782573982013100700000).) Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner component. (See «INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]»(ref-579361-S37454927402013100700000).) Disconnect the TR switch connector. - Loosen the TR switch. Remove the clip from the selector cable. Disconnect the selector cable from manual shaft lever. (Scheme 1450): Identifying Clip, Selector Cable And Manual Shaft Lever Loosen the TR switch installation bolts. (Scheme 1451): Locating TR Switch Installation Bolts
- Adjust the TR switch. Verify that the manual shaft is aligned with the N position. (Scheme 1452): Aligning Manual Shaft With N Position Adjust the TR switch between terminals B and C until the resistance becomes specification. (Scheme 1453): Identifying TR Switch Terminals TR switch specification 713-787 ohms Tighten the TR switch installation bolts. Tightening torque 8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
