DTC P0101, DTC P0102 &/OR DTC P0103 Kia Optima I рестайлинг

Code Definition

  1. DTC P0101: Mass Or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction
  2. DTC P0102: Mass Or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
  3. DTC P0103: Mass Or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input

Note. Before performing any diagnostic test, refer to WARNINGS, CAUTIONS and NOTES in DIAGNOSTIC TESTS .

Note. Testing individual components does not isolate shorts or opens. Perform all voltage tests using a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter Meter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless stated otherwise in test procedure. Use ohmmeter to isolate wiring harness shorts or opens.

Diagnostic Aids

Engine/Transaxle Control Module (E/TCM) or Engine Control Module (ECM) continuously monitors MAF sensor output. E/TCM or ECM will set code sensor output voltage has continued to be 4.5 volts or higher for 4 seconds. Check for following possible problems

  1. Open between MAF sensor and ECM control relay.
  2. Open or short between MAF sensor and E/TCM or ECM.
  3. Short between MAF sensor and E/TCM or ECM harness.
  4. Dirty air cleaner.
  5. Air leak in take system.
  6. Contaminated, deteriorated or damaged MAF sensor.
  7. Poor connection at E/TCM or ECM, MAF sensor or TP sensor.
  8. Faulty MAF sensor or TP sensor.
