DTC P0440 - EVAP SYSTEM MALFUNCTION Hyundai Sonata III рестайлинг

Testing & Diagnostics

Install scan tool. Start engine and check if DTC P0440 is present. If DTC is present, go to next step. If DTC is not present, problem is intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in «TESTS W/O CODES»(ref-16659) article.
Check related vacuum hose(s). Repair as necessary. If vacuum hoses are okay, check EVAP purge control system. For diagnosis, see DTC P0443 or EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS in «SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS»(ref-16633) article.
