DTC P0105 - BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR MALFUNCTION Hyundai Sonata III рестайлинг

  1. Install scan tool. Start engine and check for DTCs. If DTC P0105 is present, go to next step. If DTC P0105 is not present, problem is intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in «TESTS W/O CODES»(ref-16659) article. Also check air cleaner for restriction.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect BARO sensor harness connector. BARO sensor is incorporated into airflow sensor. Using DVOM, check continuity between sensor harness connector terminal No. 6 and ground. See appropriate wiring diagram in «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-16646) article. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair circuit between sensor harness connector and ECM.
  3. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between sensor harness connector terminal No. 1 and ground. DVOM should read 4.8-5.2 volts. If voltage reading is as specified, go to next step. If voltage reading is not as specified, repair circuit between sensor harness connector and ECM.
  4. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM harness connector. Connect DVOM between ground and BARO sensor harness connector terminal No. 5. Jumper ECM harness connector terminal No. 19 to ground. Continuity should be present. If continuity is not present, check for open in circuit. Remove jumper from ECM harness connector terminal No. 19. Continuity should not be present. If continuity is present, check for short in circuit. If circuits are okay, go to next step.
  5. Reconnect ECM and BARO sensor harness connectors. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Using scan tool, monitor BARO pressure sensor reading. At sea level, reading should be 30 in. Hg. At 1969 feet elevation, reading should be 28 in. Hg. At 5906 feet elevation, reading should be 24 in. Hg. If reading is not as specified, replace BARO pressure sensor. If reading is as specified, go to next step.
  6. Clear DTC. See CLEARING CODES under Self Diagnostic System section. Retest system. If DTC does not reset, system is okay. If DTC resets, replace ECM.
