- If DTC P1121 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully open. See THROTTLE POSITION PERCENTAGE table. If TP percentage is as specified or more, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time. If TP percentage is less than specified, replace TP sensor.
- If DTC P1122 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully closed. See THROTTLE POSITION PERCENTAGE table. If TP percentage is as specified or less, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time. If TP percentage is more than specified, replace TP sensor.
