  1. Refer to: «FLOOR CONSOLE»(ref-539192-S31928675202013040100000) (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation). Torque : 9 Nm Torque : 7 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Adjust the selector lever cable when a new selector lever is installed. Refer to: «SELECTOR LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT»(ref-539203-S40933444312013040100000) (307-05 Automatic Transmission External Controls, General Procedures).

  1. Torque : 9 Nm Torque : 10 Nm Torque : 25 Nm
  2. Torque : 7 Nm

  4. Torque : 10 Nm
  5. Torque : 7 Nm

  7. Rotate the selector shaft lever clockwise until it stops. Rotate the selector shaft lever counterclockwise 3 detents. Move the slide to the left. While holding the slide, position the adjuster lock upward.
  8. Verify that the vehicle only starts in PARK and NEUTRAL and the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.

Note. The grade assist switch is part of the selector lever knob. To install a new grade assist switch, a new selector lever knob must be installed.
