1. "VR6" marking -2- must be positioned at bore of bolt -3-that goes into crankshaft crankpin (contour of crankshaft is shown by dashed line -1-). see scheme 230
2. Gap (arrow) in ring gear lies across from designation.
3. Second "VR6" marking -4- may be ignored. see scheme 230

1. Tighten new bolts only finger-tight.
2. Tighten bolt -1-. see scheme 230
3. Tighten bolt -2-.
