VIBRATION DAMPER

Removing

  1. Ribbed belt removed. Refer to «RIBBED BELT»(ref-496100-S16261009972012082100000) .

Remove the center noise insulation -1 to 3-.

Remove right noise insulation fasteners -1 to 3-.

Remove vibration damper/belt pulley.

Note. To loosen and tighten the crankshaft belt pulley, counter-hold at the center bolt using a offset box wrench.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following

  1. For the correct tightening specifications, refer to «RIBBED BELT AND ASSEMBLY BRACKET OVERVIEW»(ref-496100-S01028631642012082100000)

Install the crankshaft belt pulley using only original equipment bolts

  1. Only possible to install in one position: The hole -arrow- in the crankshaft belt pulley must be positioned over the raised area on the toothed belt sprocket
