FITTING THE BOLTS TO THE TORQUE ROD

Fit the bolts, M10 x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

TIGHTENING THE LOWER SCREW ON THE LOWER STEERING SHAFT

Expose the steering wheel lock. Turn the steering wheel so that the screw on the lower steering shaft points straight forward

Tighten the lower screw on the lower steering shaft in the engine compartment. Tighten to 25 Nm.

REMOVING THE BOLTS TO THE TORQUE ROD

Remove the bolts, x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

INSTALLING THE GEARBOX BOLTS TO THE LOWER TORQUE ROD

Fit the bolts, x2, in accordance with: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Fit the bolts, M10 x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

Remove the bolts, x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

REMOVING THE GEARBOX BOLTS TO THE LOWER TORQUE ROD

Remove the bolts, x2.

Fit the bolts, x2, in accordance with: SUMMARY OF TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR SPECIFIC COMPONENTS.

Fit the bolts, M10 x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

Remove the bolts, x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.

Remove the bolts, x2.

Fit the bolts, x2, in accordance with: SUMMARY OF TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR SPECIFIC COMPONENTS.

Fit the bolts, M10 x2, at the suspension turrets on both sides.
