REPLACEMENT OF CONTROL UNIT AND PROGRAMMING

Control unit has registered an internal fault.

CAUTIONA new control unit is supplied without software. The new control unit must be programmed before it will work.

CHECKING THE INSTALLATION

  1. Ignition off. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates that the steering wheel module (SWM) or the steering wheel angle sensor is incorrectly installed. Check that the steering wheel module (SWM) and the steering wheel angle sensor are correctly installed. CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

The Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) has registered an internal fault. Replace the control module.
