How to Replace the Engine Damping Block, Left (S8U) Opel Movano A

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release bolt
  2. 2. Disconnect air ducting hose (1) from air cleaner housing • Release cable tie (2)
  1. 3. Release air intake ducting from front panel and remove • Remove screw (1)
  1. 4. Release air intake hose (1) from air cleaner housing • Release clip (2)
  1. 5. Release 2x hose (2) from moulded clip (1) of air cleaner housing
  1. 6. Remove air cleaner housing from engine compartment • Release 4x mounting (1)
  1. 7. Raise vehicle
  2. 8. Remove engine and transmission undershield from vehicle • Remove 2x bolt (1) • Remove 4x nut (2)
  1. 9. Install Engine Support KM-6210 – see operation “Engine Support KM-6210, Install and Remove”
  2. 10. Lower vehicle
  3. 11. Remove engine damping block from chassis bracket • Remove nut (1) • Remove 2x bolt (1)

Install

  1. 12. Install engine damping block to chassis bracket • Secure 2x bolt ( 44 Nm ) • Secure nut ( 140 Nm )
  2. 13. Raise vehicle
  3. 14. Remove Engine Support KM-6210 from vehicle
  1. 15. Install engine and transmission undershield • Secure 2x bolt (1) • Secure 4x nut (2)
  1. 16. Lower vehicle
  2. 17. Install air cleaner housing to engine compartment • Secure 4x mounting (1)
  1. 18. Secure 2x hose (2) to moulded clip (1) of air cleaner housing
  1. 19. Connect air intake hose (1) to air cleaner housing • Secure clip (2)
  1. 20. Install air intake ducting to front panel • Secure screw (1)
  1. 21. Connect ducting hose (1) to air cleaner • Install new cable tie (2)
  1. 22. Connect battery negative lead • Secure bolt
  2. 23. Program all volatile memories
