Note:
Using this TECH 1 function, the immobiliser key fobs can be programmed consecutively and individually into the immobiliser control unit. For this, the immobiliser control unit reads out the immobiliser key fob's transponder code and stores it.
Important:
| The immobiliser key fobs can not be programmed seperately. If a immobiliser key fob is lost, or an extra key fob has to be programmed it is a need to program the new immobiliser key fob together with all remaining immobiliser key fobs. |
Press key F7 in the system main menu, select PROGRAMM TP - KEY using the arrow keys and confirm with YES.
Follow the instructions on the TECH 1 display.
Ignition "OFF"
Hold the immobiliser key fob to be programmed to the immobiliser receiver for approx. 1 s.
It is required to program the number of immobiliser key fobs selected previously. Otherwise the immobiliser will not leave the learn mode and the engine will not start.
