Note: When the first programming function is called up after communication has been established, the security code must be entered into TECH 1 (see section 4.7.3), to ensure that the user is authorised to perform programming. This is a safety measure to protect the vehicle against unauthorised tampering.
The security code which is valid for the vehicle can be found in the car pass given to the customer on delivery of the vehicle.
