Remove
Exhaust throttle - see operation "Exhaust Throttle Remove and Install" in group L.
Measure
Clearance A between throttle valve and body - apply vacuum of more than 0.53 bar/7.7 psi to chamber then check clearance is 0.15 mm.
Adjust
Clearance between throttle valve and body if necessary - stop bolt (1) and linkage (2).
Measure
Clearance A – apply vacuum of 0.35 ± 0.02 bar/5.0 ± 0.3 psi to chamber then check clearance is 1.15 mm.
Install
Exhaust throttle to exhaust system.
