Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Coolant Pipe Replacement Opel Agila B

Engine Cooling 2 illustrations ~128 words

Remove

  1. 1. Remove exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve and cooler assembly from engine – see operation “Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Replacement”
  2. 2. Transfer EGR valve and cooler assembly to work bench

Note. Secure to soft-jawed vice.

  1. 3. Remove coolant pipe (2) from EGR valve and cooler assembly (1) • Remove hose from coolant pipe – Release clip • Remove bolt (3)
  2. 4. Remove clip (4) from coolant pipe

Install

  1. 5. Install clip (4) to new coolant pipe (2)
  2. 6. Install coolant pipe to EGR valve and cooler assembly (1) • Install bolt (3) 28 Nm • Install hose to coolant pipe – Secure clip
  1. 7. Install EGR valve and cooler assembly to engine – see operation “Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Replacement”
