CAUTIONWhen removing/installing or transporting the audio amplifier, hold it by its front waterproof cover. Otherwise the waterproof cover could deform and water penetration could cause the audio amplifier to malfunction. Always keep the front waterproof cover for the audio amplifier as the bottom surface when storing the audio amplifier. Otherwise the waterproof cover could deform and water penetration could cause the audio amplifier to malfunction.

  1. Remove the battery cover.

  3.   4. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Antenna Amplifier

  1. Turn on the audio unit and radio, and measure the voltage at manual antenna connector terminal C. If the voltage is B+, inspect the manual antenna. If the voltage is not B+, inspect the audio unit or the antenna feeder.

Feeder

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-430294-S35932810402011101700000) )
  3. Disconnect the manual antenna connector.
  4. Inspect for continuity between the manual antenna terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the manual antenna.

  4. Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 1.
  5. Remove the clip A.
  6. Partially peel back the floor covering.
  7. Detach clips B.
  8. Detach clips C.
  9. Disconnect the wiring harness from the clip D.
  10. Disconnect the connector.
  11. Detach clips D and E.
  12. Remove the antenna feeder No. 2.
  13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
