DOOR SPEAKER INSPECTION

  1. Verify the resistance between door speaker terminals. If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the door speaker. Resistance Without Bose®: 4 ohms With Bose®: 1 ohm
  2. Connect a 1.5 V battery to the door speaker and verify that noise is heard from the door speaker. If no noise is heard, replace the door speaker.

CENTER SPEAKER INSPECTION

  1. Verify the resistance between center speaker terminals. If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the center speaker. Resistance 3.6 ohms
  2. Connect a 1.5 V battery to the center speaker and verify that noise is heard from the center speaker. If no noise is heard, replace the center speaker.

MANUAL ANTENNA INSPECTION

Note. A amplifier is built into the manual antenna.

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA INSPECTION

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-430294-S35932810402011101700000) )
  3. Disconnect the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna connector. (See «SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430309-S33302479452011101700000) )
  4. Verify that the continuity between SIRIUS satellite radio antenna terminals is as indicated in illustration. If not as indicated in the chart, replace the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna.

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-430294-S35932810402011101700000) )
  3. Remove the following parts: Trunk end trim (See «TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S09188712472011101700000) ) Partition board (See «PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S16092932432011101700000) ) Trunk side trim (RH) (See «TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S12262640872011101700000) )
  4. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  4. Disconnect the antenna feeder No. 1.
  5. Remove the clip A.
  6. Partially peel back the floor covering.
  7. Detach clips B.
  8. Detach clips C.
  9. Disconnect the wiring harness from the clip D.
  10. Disconnect the connector.
  11. Detach clips D and E.
  12. Remove the antenna feeder No. 2.
  13. Install in the reverse order of removal.

ANTENNA FEEDER NO. 2 INSPECTION

  1. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the chart. If not as indicated in the chart, replace the antenna feeder No. 2.

  4. Disconnect the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna connector. (See «SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430309-S33302479452011101700000) )
  5. Pull the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna feeder cover No. 1 outward and detach clips A.
  6. Detach clip B.
  7. Cut the band.
  8. Pull the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna feeder cover No. 2 outward and detach pin C, clip D and E.
  9. Detach clip F.
  10. Detach clip G and H.
  11. Disconnect the connector.
  12. Remove the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna feeder.
  13. Install in the reverse order of removal.

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER INSPECTION

  1. Remove the battery cover.

  3.   5. Disconnect the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna feeder connector. (See «SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430309-S09552443452011101700000) )
  6. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in illustration. If not as indicated in the chart, replace the SIRIUS satellite radio antenna feeder.

ACCESSORY SOCKET INSPECTION

  1. Connect a tester as shown in the illustration and verify that there is continuity. If the continuity cannot be verified, replace the accessory socket.
