TORQUE CONVERTER NUTS INSTALLATION NOTE

1. Align the holes by turning torque converter.
2. Insert a screwdriver from the starter installation hole, and lock the drive plate.
3. Tighten the torque converter mounting nuts. Tightening Torque B: 34-61 N.m {3.5-6.2 kgf.m, 25-45 ft.lbf}

1. Install the selector lever to the manual shaft lever in such a way that the selector cable does not bear a load.
2. Confirm that the end of the manual shaft lever sticks out of the end of the selector cable.

2. Remove the drive shaft and joint shaft. See «AXLE SHAFT»(ref-166072-S27140905552004091400000) and «INTERMEDIATE SHAFT»(ref-166072-S42227048072004091300000) .
3. Remove the discard the oil seal using a screwdriver.
4. Using the SSTs and a hammer, tap a new oil seal in evenly until the SSTs contacts the transaxle case.
5. Coast the lip of the oil seal with ATF.
6. Install the drive shaft and joint shaft. See «AXLE SHAFT»(ref-166072-S27140905552004091400000) and «INTERMEDIATE SHAFT»(ref-166072-S42227048072004091300000) .
7. Add ATF to the specified level. (See «AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) REPLACEMENT»(ref-178052-S24716482602005061000000) .)
8. Carry out the mechanical system test. (See «MECHANICAL SYSTEM TEST»(ref-178052-S28664009742005061000000) .)
