Magnetic Clutch is Disassembled/Assembled with A/C Compressor Equipped to Vehicle
| WARNING | If A/C compressor operation is performed, do not start the engine. Otherwise, the drive belt could get caught and cause an accident. |

- Remove the front tire (RH). (See «GENERAL PROCEDURES (FRONT AND REAR AXLES)»(ref-615461-S13103182972014051000000) ).
- Remove the front splash shield No.1 (RH). (See «SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-615433-S30142483462014051000000) ).
- Bend back the front side of the front over fender (RH). (See «FRONT OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-615469-S26249008432014051000000) ).
- Bend back the front side of the mudguard (RH). (See «MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-615433-S03927761162014051000000) ).
- Remove the front under cover No.2. (See «FRONT UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-615433-S21444705852014051000000) ).
- Disassemble in the order indicated in the table. (Scheme 52): View Of Magnetic Clutch Components With Torque Specifications
- Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
- Adjust the magnetic clutch clearance. (See «MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]»(ref-615402-S07709596972014051000000) ).

- When removing or installing the bolt, lock the A/C compressor pulley against rotation using the following procedure. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS. Select "DataLogger". Select "Modules". Select "PCM". Select "ACCS". Turn the A/C relay on using the "ACCS" simulation function.
- Secure the crankshaft pulley. NOTE: If the crankshaft pulley is rotated with the magnetic clutch turned on, the magnetic clutch turns off. If the bolt is rotated, fix it so that the crankshaft pulley does not rotate. (Scheme 53): Securing Crankshaft Pulley
- Remove the bolt with the pressure plate secured. Tightening torque 10-15 N.m {102-152 kgf.cm, 89-132 in.lbf} (Scheme 54): Identifying Pressure Plate With Bolt NOTE: When turning the bolt, if the pulley slips with little friction on the drive belt and A/C compressor pulley, attach a wrench to the hexagon of the drive belt auto tensioner, slowly turn the wrench in the direction shown in the figure, and increase the tension on the drive belt. (Scheme 55): Increasing Tension On Drive Belt Using Wrench
- Turn the A/C relay off using the "ACCS" simulation function.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]»(ref-615412-S04991947062014051000000) ).
- Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector. (Scheme 58): Identifying Magnetic Clutch Connector
- Remove the bolts A, B, and C.
- Loose bolt D approx. 2 mm {0.08 in}. Tightening torque 19-25 N.m {2.0-2.5 kgf.m, 15-18 ft.lbf} (Scheme 59): Identifying Magnetic Clutch Connector Bolts
- Tilt the A/C compressor centered around bolt D. (Scheme 60): Tilting A/C Compressor Centered Around Bolt
- Remove the screw. see scheme 41: Identifying A/C Compressor Screws
- Remove the stator. (Scheme 61): Identifying A/C Compressor Stator
