Scheme 2: AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]» ).
  2. Remove the glove compartment. (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION» ).
  3. Disconnect the air intake actuator connector.
  4. Remove the screw, then remove the air intake actuator.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal. (Scheme 2): Identifying Air Intake Actuator, Connectors And Screws

Scheme 3: AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR INSPECTION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]
  1. Connect battery positive voltage to air intake actuator terminal B (or C), connect terminal C (or B) to ground, and then verify that the air intake actuator operates as shown in the table. If the operation condition is not normal, replace the air intake actuator. (Scheme 3): Identifying Air Intake Actuator Operation Diagram

Scheme 4: Driver-side
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]» ).
  2. Remove the following parts: Side wall (driver-side) (See «SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION» ). Front heat duct (LH) (See «FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION» ).
  3. Disconnect the air mix actuator connector.
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the driver-side air mix actuator.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal. (Scheme 4): Identifying Driver-Side Air Mix Actuator, Connectors And Screw

Scheme 5: Passenger-side
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]» ).
  2. Remove the following parts: Dashboard under cover (See «DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION» ). Glove compartment (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION» ).
  3. Disconnect the air mix actuator connector.
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the passenger-side air mix actuator.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal. (Scheme 5): Identifying Passenger-Side Air Mix Actuator, Connectors And Screw
