- Engage the parking brake and use wheel chocks at the front and rear of the wheels.
- Shift the selector lever to N position.
- Disconnect the TR switch connector. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner component. (See «INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5]»(ref-581645-S06665670962013101400000).) Disconnect the TR switch connector. (Scheme 682): Identifying Transaxle Range Switch
- Loosen the TR switch. Remove the aerodynamic under cover NO.2. (See «AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-581657-S19487724012013101400000).) Remove the clip from the selector cable and disconnect the selector cable from manual shaft lever. (Scheme 683): Selector Cable And Clip Loosen the TR switch installation bolts. - Adjust the TR switch. Verify that the manual shaft is aligned with N position. (Scheme 685): Aligning Manual Shaft With N Position Adjust the TR switch between terminals B and C until the resistance becomes 713-787 ohms. (Scheme 686): IdentifyingTransaxle Range Switch Connector Terminals Tighten the TR switch installation bolts. Tightening torque 8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
