DTC B1285: STEERING PAD SWITCH COMMUNICATION STOP Lexus LS III

Note. DTC B1285 sets when there is no communication from steering pad switch and body ECU.

Disconnect steering pad switch 6-pin connector. (Scheme 24) Disconnect driver side junction block ECU 10-pin connector. see scheme 8 Check for continuity in Violet/Green wire between steering pad switch connector terminal No. 3 and driver side junction block ECU connector terminal No. 6. Repair wiring as necessary. If wiring is okay, replace steering pad switch.
