HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

Perform troubleshooting in accordance with the procedure on the flow chart.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

  1. Check "Service check mode" of AVC-LAN diagnosis system. CHECK: Connection of the gateway ECU can be checked by AVC-LAN diagnosis. w/o LEXUS navigation system: "Service check mode" of audio system. w/ LEXUS navigation system: "Service check mode" of LEXUS navigation system. See «PRE-CHECK»(ref-198069-S22018083862005101400000) . OK: Radio display or Multi display: G/W: OK (System is normal) G/W: EXCH (Replace gateway ECU) others: Troubleshoot for each diagnosis. EXCH : Replace gateway ECU. Other : Troubleshoot for each diagnosis. OK : Go to next step.
  2. Check wire harness. PREPARATION: Pull out the ECU connectors mentioned below. WIRE HARNESS Wire harness side connector of ECU Terminal Gateway ECU - Radio and player GTX+ (G3-9) -TXS+ (R3-3) GTX- (G3-20) - TXS- (R3-6) CHECK: Check continuity of the wire harness between the connectors. OK: Continuity NG : Repair or replace wire harness. OK : Replace gateway ECU.
