  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Drain the engine coolant (Refer to «COOLANT»(ref-675057-S24250348822014120400000) ).
  3. Remove the radiator upper hose (Refer to «RADIATOR»(ref-675057-S14418344162014120400000) ).
  4. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).
  5. Remove the intake manifold (Refer to «INTAKE MANIFOLD»(/kia/optima/iii-2013-2015/remont/exhaust/#intake-exhaust-system-optima-hev) ).
  6. Remove the mounting bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Disconnect the NVLD connector (A).
  3. Disconnect the ventilation hoses (B, C).
  4. Remove the NVLD after by loosening the bolts (A).

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the ventilation hose (B) from the fuel tank air filter and canister close valve.
  5. Remove the fuel tank air filter assembly after removing bolts (C).
  6. Release the lever (A), and then separate the canister close valve (B) from the fuel tank air filter (C) after rotating it in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.
