DTC P1106: BARO Sensor Range/ Performance Problem, DTC P2227: BARO Sensor Range/ Performance Problem* Honda CR-V II

Note. Information marked with an asterisk (*) applies to '04 model.

  1. Reset the ECM/PCM (see «HOW TO RESET THE ECM/PCM»(ref-171385-S07999163522005020300000) ).
  2. Start the engine. Hold the engine at 3,000 RPM with no load (in Park or neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
  3. Test-drive with the A/T in 2 position, or the M/T in 4th gear.
  4. Accelerate for 5 seconds using wide open throttle.
  5. Check for a Temporary DTC with the scan tool or the HDS. Is Temporary DTC P1106 (P2227)* indicated? YES - Update the ECM/PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good ECM/ PCM, then recheck (see «ECM/PCM UPDATING AND SUBSTITUTION FOR TESTING»(ref-171385-S32387647222005020300000) ). If the symptom/ indication goes away with a known-good ECM/PCM, replace the original ECM/PCM. NO -Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
