DTC P1121 & P1122 - THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR Honda Civic VI

  1. If DTC P1121 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using OBD-II scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully open. See «THROTTLE POSITION PERCENTAGE»(ref-16347-S03371861132000122900000) . If TP percentage is specified percentage or more, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time. If TP percentage is less than specified, replace TP sensor.
  2. If DTC P1122 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using OBD-II scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully closed. See «THROTTLE POSITION PERCENTAGE»(ref-16347-S03371861132000122900000) . If TP percentage is specified percentage or less, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time.
