DTC P0123 - THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR Honda Accord V

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check TP sensor. If reading is approximately 10% at idle and 90% at Wide Open Throttle (WOT), problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires at 14-pin connector (located on right shock tower), TP sensor connector, and ECM connector. (Схема №6)
  2. If reading is not approximately 10% at idle and 90% at Wide Open Throttle (WOT), turn ignition off. Disconnect TP sensor connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between Yellow/Blue and Green/Blue wires at TP sensor wiring harness connector. If reading is approximately 5 volts, replace TP sensor. If reading is not approximately 5 volts, measure voltage between ECM connector terminals D21 and D22. If reading is approximately 5 volts, repair open in Green/Blue wire between ECM connector terminal D22 and TP sensor terminal No. 1. If reading is not approximately 5 volts, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original ECM.
