(1) If codes appear other than those listed in table, verify code. If code is not listed, replace ECM. (2) MIL and D4 indicator light may illuminate simultaneously when DTC 6, 7 or 17 is stored. Diagnose PGM-FI system as necessary, then recheck if D4 indicator light is on. If D4 indicator light is on, repair transmission. (3) MIL will not illuminate when a malfunction occurs in A/T FI signal or Electrical Load Detector (ELD). MIL will indicate appropriate DTC when Service Check Connector is shorted. (4) Applies to Valve Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) engine only.
(1)If codes appear other than those listed in table, verify code. If code is not listed, replace ECM.
(2)MIL and D4 indicator light may illuminate simultaneously when DTC 6, 7 or 17 is stored. Diagnose PGM-FI system as necessary, then recheck if D4 indicator light is on. If D4 indicator light is on, repair transmission.
(3)MIL will not illuminate when a malfunction occurs in A/T FI signal or Electrical Load Detector (ELD). MIL will indicate appropriate DTC when Service Check Connector is shorted.
(4)Applies to Valve Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) engine only.
