Parking Aid System - Audible: Removal & Installation Ford Escape III

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the RH rear quarter trim panel. Refer to «INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION»(ref-569621) .
  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(ref-569550) .
  2. Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to «BUMPERS»(ref-569628) .
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Carry out the azimuth and elevation system check to verify the sensor(s) are operating correctly. Refer to «AZIMUTH SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-569603-S34805891302013072700000) and «ELEVATION SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-569603-S07971358732013072700000) .
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to «JACKING & LIFTING»(ref-569550) .
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to «BUMPERS»(ref-569628) .
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Carry out the azimuth and elevation system check to verify the sensor(s) are operating correctly. Refer to «AZIMUTH SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-569603-S34805891302013072700000) and «ELEVATION SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-569603-S07971358732013072700000) .
