Emissions Control: Other Dodge Dart PF

1.4L - LOWER

1. Install the lower purge control valve (3) and securely tighten bolt (2).
2. Connect the vacuum hose to the lower purge control valve (3).
3. Connect the lower purge control valve (3) wire harness connector (1).
4. Install the belly pan (1). Refer to «BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION»(ref-646214-S07994234782014072800000) .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.

1.4L - UPPER

1. Install the purge control valve (1) onto the intake manifold support bracket (4).
2. Connect the vacuum hose (5) to the purge control valve (1).
3. Connect the vapor line (2) to the purge control valve (1).
4. Connect the purge control valve (1) wire harness connector (3).
5. Install the air cleaner body (1). Refer to «BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION»(ref-646215-S04758408592014072800000) .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.

2.4L

1. Lubricate the O-ring on the valve.
2. Install the PCV valve and tighten the valve to 8.1 N.m (72 in. lbs.).
3. Install the hose.
4. Install engine cover.

Scheme 26

1. Lightly lubricate the PCV valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
2. Install the PCV valve and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 in. lbs.).
3. Install the PCV hose (1).
4. On non-turbocharged engine, install engine cover (1).
5. If equipped with a turbocharger, install the air cleaner body (1). Refer to «BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION»(ref-646215-S04758408592014072800000) .
