Removing - refitting: engine speed sensor (EP6) Citroen C4 I

Removing

Disconnect the battery

Raise - raise and secure the vehicle

Remove

• The protective panel under the engine
• The exhaust hose

Unclip the harness (as "b")

Remove

• The pin (as "a")
• The protector (1)

Unscrew the fixing (3) of the engine speed sensor (2)

Detach: the engine speed sensor (2)

Disconnect the connector (as "c")

Remove the engine speed sensor (2)

Refitting

Reconnect the connector (as "c")

Refit: the engine speed sensor (2)

Screw up the fixing (3) of the engine speed sensor (2); tighten to 0,5 ± 0,1 daN.m

Refit

• The protector (1)
• The pin (as "a")

Clip in place: the electrical harness (as "b")

Refit

• The exhaust hose
• The protective panel under the engine

Reconnect the battery
