Fitting the engine to the stand
WarningAs the flywheel cannot be extracted once the engine is in place on its stand, it is essential to lock the timing, remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and then remove the flywheel before any work
Lift the engine; using a workshop crane
Fit: the pillar screws [0013]; on engine (as indicated above)
Remove the removable pin from the column bolt [0013-2D]
Fix the column bolt [0013-2D]; using a bolt (1)
NoteBolt (1) type M10 of length 80 mm
Position the arm of the stand [0013], as shown
Fix the engine to the stand; using nuts
WarningCheck that all the fixings are correctly tightened before detaching the crane
Detach the workshop crane from the engine
