1. Ignition switched ON

When indicated on display

1. Press button -0- and -5- to select function "Erase DTC Memory" and press -Q- button to confirm input.

Note. When DTC memory is erased, readiness code is reset and must therefore be re-generated.

When indicated on display

Scheme 106

1. Press -->button.

The readiness code can be generated in two methods

1. The control module executes exhaust relevant tests during driving cycles at various load conditions, therefore the readiness code is self-generated. or
2. Generate readiness code as follows.
