Front Inner Fender Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 11: Front Inner Fender Replacement
  1. Remove the front wheel (see «KNUCKLE/HUB REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension-v6) ).
  2. Remove the front inner fender (A). Canada models: On the back of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B), and remove the front splash guard (C). From under the front bumper (D), detach the clip (E) securing the front bumper, the splash shield (F), and the front inner fender, and detach the clips (G) securing the front bumper and the front inner fender. From the wheel arch, remove the screw (H) securing the front bumper and the front inner fender. From the wheel arch, detach the clips (I, J, K) securing the front inner fender (and splash shield) to the body. NOTE: To release the clips E, G, I, pry up on the center pin at the notch (L).
  3. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Front Splash Shield Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the front bumper or the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 12: Front Splash Shield Replacement
  1. Remove the front splash shield (A). Remove the clip (B) securing the front splash shield to the body. Remove the clips (C) securing the front inner fender (D) and the front splash shield to the body. From under the front bumper (E), remove the clips (F) securing the front bumper, the front inner fender, and the front splash shield to the body. From under the front bumper, remove the clips (G) securing the front bumper and the front splash shield to the body. From under the body, remove the clips (H) securing the front splash shield (and the plate) to the front subframe. NOTE: To release the clips, pry up on the center pin at the notch (I).
  2. Install the splash shield in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Front Fender Fairing Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the front inner fender as needed (see «FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exterior-body-panels/#fenderwell-v6__front-inner-fender-replacement) ).
  2. Open the front door. Remove the upper clip, and from inside the door, remove the lower clip securing the front fender fairing (A) and the front fender (B).
  3. From the wheel arch, release the clips (A, B) securing the front fender fairing (C). NOTE: Be careful not to bend the front initiator mounting bracket (D) on the front initiator (E).
  4. Turn the front fender fairing (A) to pass it by the front initiator (B), lower the fender fairing, then remove it. NOTE: Be careful not to bend the bracket (C) on the front initiator.
  5. Install the fender fairing in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Before installing the clips in the door opening area, install the front fender fairing (A) to the front fender (B) properly as shown. Push the clips into place securely.

Left side

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

  1. Remove the left rear strake (see «REAR STRAKE REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exterior-body-panels/#fenderwell-v6__rear-strake-replacement) ).
  2. Remove the bolts, and detach the clips, then remove the left front floor undercover (A). NOTE: To release the clips, pry up on the center pin at the notch (B).
  3. Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Right side

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

  1. Remove the right rear strake (see «REAR STRAKE REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exterior-body-panels/#fenderwell-v6__rear-strake-replacement) ).
  2. Remove the bolts and the nut, and detach the clips, then remove the right front floor undercover (A). NOTE: To release the clips, pry up on the center pin at the notch (B).
  3. Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Rear Undercover Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the rear bumper or the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

  1. Remove the rear undercover (A). Remove the bolts (B) and the clip (C) securing the undercover to the body. From under the rear bumper (D), remove the clips (E) securing the undercover and the rear bumper. Lower the front area of the undercover, and pull out the undercover from the rear bumper. NOTE: To release the clips E, pry up on the center pin at the notch (F).
  2. Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Fuel Pipe Protector Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Take care not to scratch the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

  1. Remove the left rear wheel (see «HUB BEARING UNIT REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/suspension-rear/#rear-suspension-v6) ).
  2. Detach the clips, then remove the fuel pipe protector (A).
  3. Install the protector in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones. Push the clips into place securely.

Rear Inner Fender Replacement

  1. Remove the screws (A) securing the rear inner fender (B) and the rear bumper (C), and remove the screw (D) securing the rear inner fender and the body.
  2. Pull on the rear bumper (A) at the wheel arch area. Pull out the grommet (B) while pinching the tabs (C) on the end of the grommet, then remove it from the body, and remove the rear inner fender (D).
  3. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: If the grommet is damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with a new one. Push the grommet into place securely.

Rear Strake Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the bolts, then remove the rear strake (A).
  2. Install the strake in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Air Outlet Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Remove the rear bumper (see «REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumpers-v6__rear-bumper-removalinstallation) ).
  2. Detach the hooks (A), then remove the rear air outlet (B).
  3. Install the air outlet by pushing on the hook areas until the hooks snap into place.
