Right side fuel pump with level sensor

1. Attach a piece of string or steel wire onto attachments for wire and tube system on left side fuel gauge sensor
2. Install wire and tube system into fuel tank
3. Pull wire and tube system towards opening for left side level sensor, and feed through.

1. Loosen plastic tube from slot in pump housing
2. Hold float against pump housing and install fuel pump in position 2 (see illustration).

1. Turn fuel pump to position 1 (see illustration)
2. Press plastic tube firmly into slot in pump housing
3. Press fuel pump down in hole
4. Install lock ring and tighten by hand.

Note. Markings on cover and fuel tank.

1. Tighten lock ring using special tool «9995720»(ref-403953-S31506353462011061000000) .
2. Install seal and hatch onto fuel pump.

1. Remove rear seat as described in «Rear seat assembly»(ref-441129-S19189862722011121500000)
2. Remove insulation
3. Fold floor mat in boot under.

1. Remove level sensor cover
2. Disconnect connector
3. Loosen level sensor lock ring using special tool «9995720»(ref-403953-S31506353462011061000000)
4. Remove level sensor. It is easier if the fuel pipe bends upwards through the hole
5. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the level sensor
6. Loosen tube system by pressing release button down
7. Remove level sensor.
